The
St. Petersburg Junior Woman's Club is planning our 9th Annual Pumpkin
Palooza Fall Festival on October 6, 2012. This great family festival
features live entertainment, a pumpkin patch, carnival games, a safety
zone, craft vendors, food, and opportunity drawing baskets. It is held
at the St Petersburg Woman’s Club in Snell Isle, along the gorgeous St.
Petersburg waterfront.
Pumpkin Palooza is our annual fundraising event. Proceeds from the festival allow us to continue our long tradition of volunteer service projects in the community. We were organized in 1932 (we celebrated our 80th Anniversary in 2012!) and are affiliated with the General Federation of Woman's Clubs: the largest and oldest non-denominational, non-partisan service organization of volunteer women in the world. In observance of World Food Day, we will be collecting canned and boxed food at the event, which will be donated to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic’s Food Panty and Northside Benevolence Ministries. Please bring a donation to help alleviate hunger in our community. |
